Samuel Sterling is a senior cloud data analytics architect with more than forty years of experience in Information Technology, 34 of them with Teradata. Playing significant roles, he has built dozens of successful data warehouses and analytic systems from the ground up, resulting in 10s of millions of dollars in increased revenue and decreased costs for clients. Samuel was the lead Solution Architect for the first 1TB+ decision support data warehouse and developed the technique to parallelize hundreds of concurrent tactical queries. Also, he co-developed the very first of Teradata’s industry Logical Data Models which was for the Financial Industry. Samuel is currently a director in Teradata’s Americas Solutions and Services Delivery organization.
