Scot Rogers

Chief Administrative Officer

Scot Rogers is the Chief Administrative Officer at Teradata. In this role, he oversees the company’s worldwide legal and human resources operations and is responsible for driving enterprise-wide initiatives in legal matters, corporate governance, compliance, talent strategy and culture.

Rogers brings more than 20 years of senior executive experience in corporate law, human resources, transformative M&A, governance, and strategic leadership within the technology sector. Prior to Teradata, he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer at F5, Inc., where he played a pivotal role in transforming the company from a hardware-centric infrastructure provider into the global leader in application delivery and security. Under his leadership as F5’s Corporate Secretary, F5's Board of Directors achieved recognition as Fortune Magazine's #1 Modern Board in 2023.

During his tenure at F5 (2005-2025), Rogers advanced through increasingly senior legal roles to become a key executive team member responsible for strategic direction. He led comprehensive legal, compliance, and government affairs functions across global operations, served as interim CHRO, and executive sponsor for ESG initiatives. Rogers successfully managed complex M&A transactions as lead negotiator and served as primary executive interface for F5’s federal business and major customer accounts.

A cybersecurity governance expert, Rogers served on F5's Executive Security Operating Committee and provided expert testimony to the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources on cyber threats to critical energy infrastructure. He holds executive education certificates from MIT Sloan School of Management in Blockchain Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

Rogers' experience spans multiple industries, including healthcare technology as General Counsel at Xpediate Consulting, where he managed complex licensing transactions and regulatory compliance. He began his career in litigation at various law firms and brings unique entrepreneurial insights from his experience as President of an independent record label.

An active legal community contributor, Rogers has served as adjunct faculty at Seattle University School of Law, regularly speaks at industry conferences on governance and compliance, and previously served on boards of the Northwest Children's Fund and as advisory board member for the Asian University for Women.

Rogers earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law and B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
