Architecture Exam
The Architecture exam will no longer be available as of July 31st, 2024.
Covers features and functionality of Vantage Release 2.3 and the Advanced SQL Engine through release 17.10.
This exam will certify that the successful candidate has knowledge and skills necessary to architect solutions with rigor centered around Teradata Vantage and its interactions with the surrounding ecosystem. This includes architecture concepts, deployment options (cloud, on-premises, and hybrid), information management and data governance, performance design, data integration, data security, resiliency and portability, and information delivery.
Focuses on strategies relating to loading, non-production environments, data retention, placement and archiving as well as the benefits of master data management, temporal, geospatial and time series capabilities, regulatory requirements, management and monitoring options.
Register for the Vantage Architecture Exam
Starting November 21, 2022, candidates can register for the Vantage Architecture Exam. The exam will be LIVE on December 1, 2022. Please email certification.teradata@teradata.com for any questions. Visit home.pearsonvue.com/teradata and select exam TDVAN6 for the Vantage Architecture Exam. Candidates are able to register and take the Architecture Exam either in a Pearson Vue test center or remotely, at their home or office. FAQs and additional information on this option are available. There are no prerequisites to take this exam.

The Vantage Architecture certification does not expire.
CREDENTIALS
Successful completion of this exam will earn you a Vantage Certified Architecture certification with a digital badge.
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE
The audience for this exam is solution architects, data warehouse architects, enterprise architects, ecosystem architects, data architects, cloud architects, and technical architects. We would expect the successful candidate to have at least 5 years of Teradata Vantage and Database experience, along with 3 years of general experience as an Architect, and 2 years of public cloud experience.

Focuses on metadata, modeling, application deployment architecting non-production environments, analytic ecosystems and cloud architecture.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND DATA GOVERNANCE – 12%
