Teradata (NYSE: TDC) today announced its collaboration with Ingram Micro, the world’s largest IT distributor, to help customers in Singapore implement Teradata Vantage in the cloud to meet the unprecedented demand for data-driven business intelligence. As an expansion of the distributorship coverage in South East Asia, this relationship combines Teradata’s multi-cloud data platform -- Vantage – with Ingram Micro’s extensive networks that ensure large-scale and uninterrupted access to these services.
This collaboration addresses the increasing need for organizations in Singapore to step up investments in digital technologies in order to remain resilient and competitive. It also directly supports Singapore’s Budget 2022 announcement in which the government highlighted the nation’s priority to strengthen its digital capabilities and allocated S$200 million funds to enhance programs that build such capabilities among firms and workers.
