Centrica Builds Enterprise Data Warehouse with Teradata

Centrica has purchased a Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance, analytical applications and services to integrate and centralise its growing data volumes

Centrica evaluated the leaders in the market with a comprehensive study involving analysts, request for quotes and proposals along with many detailed reference visits or calls over a 12-month period with existing Teradata customers
Centrica will migrate data from its many existing databases to the enterprise data warehouse hosted on the Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance. Centrica will save money by consolidating its management information databases. Also Centrica will utilise the new applications described above to better understand its customers.
