Stephen Brobst, Chief Technology Officer, Teradata
Prior to joining Teradata in 1988, Stephen successfully launched three start-up companies related to high-end database products and services in the data warehousing and e-business marketplaces. He has been on the faculty of TDWI since 1996. He recently co-authored Building a Data Warehouse for Decision Support, published by Prentice Hall PTR. Brobst performed Masters and Ph.D. research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mark Shainman, Senior Program Manager, Teradata MDM Solutions Marketing
Mark leads a team focused on promoting the value of data warehouse-driven MDM across industries. Based in California, he serves as an advisor to large companies involved in data warehouse implementations and the deployment of MDM tools and processes. He joined Teradata from META Group, where he was a senior research director. 

Presenter

Dr. David L. Bean, CTO and Co-Founder, Attensity Corporation
David’s background includes a BA in French and Arabic from the University of Utah, an MS in management information systems from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management and a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Utah. He currently holds five software patents with 16 pending. Prior to Attensity, David was an IS director, an electronic billing coordinator and an independent consultant in the healthcare industry.
