On Friday August 7th, 2009, Teradata Cares launched in New York City. As part of Teradata Cares STEM initiative, over 20 employees joined representatives from New York Cares to deliver a microscope workshop at P.S. 64. Recent budget cuts led to the school to cancel any science classes or programs. Teradata donated 20 microscopes to the school and our employees taught some of the students how to make slides and study them. The school will now be able to deliver after school science programs to their students.
