If TCRM channel process fails we'd like to be able to log which communications are affected and the estimated number of leads that have not been sent for each of the communications as a result.
Has anybody got any advice on the best way of doing this?

SQL is the answer. Create a macro that takes in the channel ID as a parameter and joins all the necessary tables to retrieve whatever it is you want. You'll need extensive IOS knowledge to be able to do that. For help with understanding what field is referenced where, visit this link
http://forrit.dk/teradata/ and download Teradata QuickSearch. Great tool!
