The Data Warehouse Analyst will work directly with end users to support their analytic needs; take on ownership of data quality at a hands-on level; assist with writing new documentation, and training for program change requests used by end users; and writing business requirement specifications for the programming and development staff; be able to match information delivery capabilities to the needs of the business.
Essential Functions:
- Author business requirements documents
- Data Analysis and Stewardship
- Post implementation support
- End User training and support
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum:
- 5+ years business/system analyst experience in systems development
- 3+ Years experience of SQL
- Ability to create detailed requirements documents
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Goal oriented and deadline driven
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Excellent research and problem solving skills
Education, Certification, and/or Training:
Minimum:
BA or BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science
Preferred:
Teradata and Microstrategy certification a plus
Minimum Experience:
- Experience with ecommerce and financial systems and web log based processing and reporting
- Experience with data modelling concepts in a Teradata environment
