Needless to say I am kind of a beginner in Teradata.
While trying a multiload it gave me the error restart is in progress (clueless about the message).
Then I have shutdown the system with tpareset command.
No I need to restart it(not through the windows Services) , to do that as per the manual I have to set the DBS START flag ON and the execute RESTART TPA.
The RESTART command seems to be unrecognised on the Teradata window. It would be appreciable of someone could please tell me how can I Restart the system . Just for your info I have installed the DEMO Software on WinXp.
