Hi All
I am pretty confused about the AccID which is required in all Logon screen . What’s that for , and how would I get it ?
While trying to get onto PM (to find out how many AMP’s I have on the demo database , by the way is there any other way to find that out ?) , I am encountering “224 The Machine is not in your hosts file” error . I have tried with “DEMOTDAT”, ‘DEMOTDATCAP1”, DBC , localhost ,(in the hosts file) , but cant get through . Now how could I find out the ACCOUNT ID .
Also , could you please help me in understanding about how Teradata maintains the read consistency (keeping before images)with probably TJ or PJ, the way Oracle does with undo segments ?
I really appreciate your help .
