I tried to install the demo version of teradata software on windows vista machine 64 bit. I had lot of problem. Currently it is installed on another machine using windows xp, 32 bit machine. I believe that the software can only be installed on 32 bit machines. I am not sure about the operating systems. I know it works on cp. I am not sure about vista or windows 7?

If your Windows machine has an Intel CPU that supports virtualization (Intel VT feature), I recommend the new Teradata Express for VMWare, which you can download from this site. Use it with VMWare Player 3.0, which is a free download from vmware.com. VMWare Player supports all versions of Windows (32 or 64 bit) as host OS. Teradata Express for VMWare is a virtual machine with Teradata running on the 64-bit Linux guest OS.
