I wonder that in teradata, the map from hash bucket to AMPs are static?????????????
If I add new AMPs to the current system,how could teradata adjust its map from hash bucket number to AMPs ???
I think it has to rebuild a new map and move data accordingly,am I right????/
looking for help ..............................

yes, whenever you add new components to TD system, the data re-distribution occurs, but it is automatic.
