What error message are you getting, while connecting to the server using TD clinet tools.

Hi ,

I have a problem.

The TD server is in France. We are not able to connect to Teradata server using SQL Assistant from India .

People who are in France are able to connect it. None of them from India are able to connect to it .

But from India , we are able to connect to the TD database in Unix - ie, with a Bteq .

Could anyone please let us know as to what could be the problem with SQL Assistant .
