Hi,

I want to know the below...

1. how to shutdown & restart the system.
2. how to add new AMPs.
3. what we should do while AMP got down.

to shutdown tpareset -x "...."
to restart net start recond in teradata command prompt
when amp goes down try the following

make taradatadown and restart but this is not at all good solution.
in teradata command prompt

vprocmanager it shos all amps & configuration of teradata

then set correspnding amps online

ex: set 1021 online
here 1201 in amp no
