Hey guys, I was just wondering, what software do you primarily use in Business Intelligence/Datawarehousing, and are their any significant cutbacks in any proposed projects

A very broad question I feel. By far I think spreadsheet tools are the most widely used software tools used in Business Intelligence / datawarehousing. No offence meant. :-)

There are a few data warehousing tools. Talend Open Studio is one of them. It is an open source ETL tool for data integration experts with a user-friendly GUI, easy to learn for a non-technical user.
Now what distinguishes Talend, when it comes to business users, is the tMap component which allows the user to get a graphical and functional view of integration processes.
