hello all

is it required to take COLLECT STATISTICS on all the tables in the database?
if no pls tell me some tips on which type of tables should i take COLLECT STATISTICS
and on which type of columns

Hi Rahul,

It is not required to collect statistics on all tables in the database.
Collecting statistics on the columns in a large table, where the non-index columns is frequently used in where clause and joins will help in query performance.
