Hi all,

I'm farly new to Teradata and it's my first commercial SQL position (4 months in and counting...)

I'd really like to learn a lot more about Teradata but find the manuals terribly inaccessible (they read more like a 400-page sales features-and-benefits guide!).

Can anyone suggest any alaternative self-training resources - such as published manuals, textbooks, online learning forums or the like?

I'd be very grateful for your advice!

With kind regards,

Steve

Have you looked through the Teradata Catalog in NCRU? There are many courses to choose from, that contain helpful reference materials.

You can also get to the Teradata Training web site from the Employee Portal / Emp Resources / Teradata Training.
