Hello,
I am seeking a Teradata DBA for a permanent position in Tampa, FL. Details can be found at www.southernrs.com. I have also pasted a description below:
Responsibilities:
•Administer a dual-Active Teradata Environment
•Maintain / Upgrade the Teradata Data Warehouse Environment (TTU, Teradata V2Rx.x)
•Work closely with the Business Users (Data & Analytics) to implement projects in support of the Business Requirements Document
•Work closely with Production Support to ensure the Teradata Data Warehouse operates with SLAs
•Work closely with NCR to ensure the smooth operation of the Data Warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience with Teradata Administrator Tools and Load/Unload Utilities
•Experience with Teradata BAR’s implementation using NetVault software preferred
•Experience with column level encryption (Protegrity)
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science
•Effective communications skills and analytical skills required.
•Strong interpersonal skills permitting interface with various departments
•Ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints and work effectively on a team or independently.
•Experience in a Teradata Dual-Active Environment
