Hi,

When choosing your segment in a communication in the TCRM 5 GUI, is it possible to choose a date range with only the date and month specified, i.e., without specifying the year?

I am talking about the feature that lets you choose between a floating duration and a fixed range.

Thanks.

Thank you for your post! Here is an answer to your question.

It's primarily because of the inherent assumption that when asking for dates, TCRM is asking for a complete date. None of the input fields in the application that I can think of is a Month and Day only input. It’s just the way the application was designed.

However, a view on the data base could be created (or formula field if they don't want to get the DBA involved) that breaks the date down into 3 pieces: Month, Day, and Year. Then, just map legends for the component pieces and select the desired legend. If a date range is desired, two legends can be mapped to each piece of data.

Hope this helps!
Carol

Thank you, Carol!

Sounds like a plan to me. I will let our IT folks know about your idea.
