STDOUT/STDERR in UDFs/XSPs ? Rate Topic Display Mode Topic Options Author Message Dean Arnold Posted 11/3/2006 2:50:06 PM Junior Member Group: Forum Members Last Login: 12/7/2007 1:13:18 PM Posts: 13, Visits: 2 I need to use a 3rd party library for some UDFs/XSPs that may occasionally print stuff to STDERR or STDOUT (usually in the event of some warning/error condition). I can't seem to find any reference in the docs or on this board that indicates what the protected mode processes do with STDERR/STDOUT ? Are they redirected to the DB console (ala the deprecated PRINT for SPs), or redirected to /dev/null, or ??? Any chance they might be redirected to trace tables ?
