I have a table that is appox. 900gb but with fallback applied it is near 1.8tb. My question is that when I backup the table the data dictionary marks the table as fallback so when I try to restore the table it is marked as a fallback table and restored as such. I know of a work around to solve this problem if I do not wish to apply the fallback during the restore if I am doing it from a full/all amps backup. My problem is that restoring the table from a all amp backup takes too long. I know that backing up with a clustered backup is quicker, this is where my problem is. When I try to restore from a clustered backup I have no way of dropping the fallback definition from the Data dictionary. Does anyone know who to restore a clustered fallbackup table to a cluster non-fallback table.
