Hello,
I am currently seeking a Teradata developer for one my clients in Horsham, PA which is south of Philadelphia. Please review the job description below, and if interested, please call or e-mail me regarding your availability. Thank you.
Location: Horsham, PA
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Rate: DOE
Responsibilities
Develops an understanding of the business process being implemented well enough to understand functional specifications
Can take functional specifications and write technical specification documents as directed by analysts.
Translates technical specifications into efficient ETL scripts in a Teradata environment
Develops and unit tests efficient ETL scripts in a Teradata environment
Develops and unit tests efficient Unix scripts in a Teradata environment
Provides ETL and Unix technical leadership to the team.
Preferred Experience
4+ years development experience in a Unix environment; preferably Sales / Logistics applications (Manugistics, APO, Siebel, etc)
1+ years of Teradata ETL coding experience
1+ years of BTEQ development experience
2+ years of Unix script development experience
Strong Unix skills
Strong SQL skills
Strong analytical skills
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Computer Science or Related Discipline
