Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council
The Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council (AAPAC) provides advisory input for product development direction to Teradata Analytical Applications, including Teradata CRM, Demand Chain Management, Supply Chain Intelligence, and Teradata Warehouse Miner.
AAPAC consists of license holders and end-users who come together to provide insight into new business strategies, processes, and functionality with an eye towards adding business value to the Analytical Applications.
Purpose
The purpose of the Analytical Applications Product Advisory Committee (AAPAC) is to provide a process for client input into all aspects of the Analytical Applications. AAPAC members represent a broad spectrum of industry disciplines, including retail, travel, finance, insurance, and communications.
AAPAC represents the valuable voice of the customer, providing client questions, suggestions, and concerns directly to the Teradata Analytical Applications team. AAPAC acts as a conduit to make the customers heard as a unified group with a vested interest in direction, functionality, and services.
Mission
In a spirit of partnership, the mission of the Product Advisory Council is to provide a forum for users of the various applications to communicate information, to exchange ideas for mutual benefit, to set measurable objectives, to provide input on features, functionality and services, and to provide prioritization.
AAPAC recommendations are leveraged to extend and build the Analytical Applications Suite with improved functionality and to deliver tangible business results.
Goals
Represent fully the business and technical needs of the customer
Review and provide input into the Analytical Applications Solution Roadmap
Provide input and prioritization for features/functionality considerations of planned base release content
Identify possible future product development opportunities
Create opportunities for information and best practices sharing

Only Analytical Applications license holders are eligible for membership
Maximum of 15 member companies across all industries
AAPAC members serve a minimum of one year on the council, attend two Face to Face meetings per year, and participate in monthly conference calls
AAPAC members are required to assist at the annual Teradata PARTNERS Conference

Bob directs development of the customer database and business processes for execution of marketing programs from the data warehouse. The customer database is used to drive analysis and execution of marketing programs to improve customer retention and increase revenue. Bob is also responsible for development, maintenance and training for the TCRM application for execution of marketing campaigns. In addition, he has responsibility for third party data. Bob has been with Nationwide for over 20 years in various roles in Underwriting, Project Management and Marketing.

Doug is Senior Business Intelligence Engineer for the world's largest online movie rental service. He is responsible for administration and development of Netflix's email platform.
Prior to joining Netflix, Doug managed Overstock.com's EDW applications team where he was responsible for the Teradata CRM system that nearly tripled the company's email revenue stream. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Alabama and is a Teradata Certified SQL Specialist.

Rupert Blackley started at British Airways in the Operational Research Department in 1987, supporting route costing, revenue management, and relationship marketing functions. He joined the marketing group seven years ago and has worked on various CRM projects implementing segmentation models and strategies. He also managed a team of analysts who utilized extensive customer database management and executed all outbound communications. His current role is as a consultant to the business on all matters related to the development and exploitation of campaign management, database marketing, and Teradata CRM at British Airways. Blackley joined the AAPAC in 2002.

Since 2000, DeAnna has worked with Teradata CRM at Hallmark Cards. She is currently the TCRM Administrator, manages Hallmark's consumer databases that include Hallmark's loyalty program data, and is the business lead for Marketing's IT projects. She is also Hallmark's expert on the "Retailerization" process. DeAnna joined the AAPAC in May 2004.

Mike Breitenbeker leads the EDW Applications team at Overstock.com. He is responsible for application administration and development to creatively meet the needs of a dynamic business. Overstock.com has established itself as a leader in the industry in communication efficiency via offer optimization. Prior to joining Overstock.com, Mike worked as the CRM manager and certification database DBA for Novell Worldwide Training Services. Mike holds the Advanced Teradata Certified Professional and Teradata Certified Administrator certifications.

Debbie started her CRM career at Travelocity in 2005 and now manages the global CRM development and operations team. She built upon her 5 years of data warehouse experience to include CRM, working on strategic innovations to deliver CRM campaign output to multiple channels, such as home page personalization and cross-sell messaging. Debbie's team works with the business stakeholders to implement CRM infrastructure and automation changes to support a variety of business initiatives across the organization. She has been a member of the AAPAC since 2007.

As the lead technical resource to support the TCRM Application, he worked on upgrades, creation of legends, and first level support for identified issues. Overall, he has fifteen years of experience working with marketing systems and twenty years of IT experience, including all aspects of development and support.

Jack Graham has been with Verizon Wireless and its affiliates since 1991, and, is currently a Principal Software Systems Architect who is responsible for the strategic and technical direction of a suite of Sales and Marketing applications that include TCRM. Jack has been an integral member of the IT team that has supported both the initial implementation, and, on-going support and upgrades of the four (4) area-specific and HQ instances at Verizon Wireless since 2000. He was also responsible for the original implementation of email marketing using inherent TCRM functionality, and, the subsequent transition to the partner solution of NCR's Customer Power. He has also provided closed-loop integration of TCRM with both operational and contact management applications in an effort to centralize offer management for both inbound and outbound channels. Jack has been with the AAPAC since 2004.

Maura Hart is a newcomer to CRM and the AAPAC from the IT side. She has most recently implemented a CRM upgrade, a new customer segmentation, and Offer Optimizer. As a technical resource she supports the TCRM application and the marketing users, along with the Teradata data warehouse. Maura has ten plus years of experience implementing merchandising and marketing systems and eighteen years of IT experience.

Greg has been an employee of the National Australia Bank for 26 years and a part of the National Leads program for the past 9 years. Greg's current role as Team Leader, CRM Operations & Reporting, on the business side, has the responsibility for the day-to-day management and usage of the Teradata Communication Manager 3 (CM3) application. Greg works closely with project team on new developments/enhancements to existing National Leads capability, which includes direct liaison with Teradata in Australia where projects impact their use of CM3.

As a Manager, Client Strategy & Analytics, James was responsible for implementing strategies and tactics to deliver on the 1 to 1 promise. Over the past ten years, James has taken on increasingly responsible positions and is now responsible for the design, execution and reporting upon of all client treatment, proactive and responsive marketing activities in the Canadian Banking division of RBC, including RBC Insurance, Direct Investing and RBC Bank. James holds an MBA in Management Science and Financial Services from York University, a MSc in Marketing Management and BASc in Consumer Behaviour from the University of Guelph.

Bev is an experienced and capable specialist in Database Marketing and Customer Relationship Management. Over the last 18 years, Bev has fulfilled numerous roles across the Marketing functions with various Insurance and Financial Services organizations. These include Marketing and Database Analyst roles including managing a CRM team delivering the full communication plans for the organization and, Product and CRM Strategy Management roles. Bev's current role is managing Marketing Infrastructure for the Barclays Retail Bank from a business perspective. This includes the strategy around the various hardware and software used in the e2e process to deliver closed loop marketing and managing the change agenda to deliver against the agreed strategy.

Since 2001, Kate Rosa has held various analytical roles at Meijer; and in 2005, she joined the Customer Database Marketing team just when Meijer was starting to develop its CRM infrastructure. In the fall of 2006, Meijer purchased TCRM and Offer Optimizer allowing Meijer to execute targeted promotions at the point of sale. Kate now leads the Customer Database Marketing Analytical team responsible for targeting households for campaigns and providing customer insights to the business.

Susan Zimmer

Susan Zimmer has worked in relationship marketing at JCPenney since 1988. She initially worked on the Credit Inserts Program in the direct response area. Zimmer then moved to catalog marketing, where she was responsible for selection and analysis of the major catalogs, sale tabloids, and marketing programs. She moved to her current position as project manger for TCRM within the strategic planning and research area in 2000. Zimmer manages the JCPenney team that provides business support in TCRM for JCPenney’s three business channels (catalog, internet, and retail). Zimmer and her team work with the Technical Support team to develop and implement marketing business solutions in the TCRM application.

Dan Summerlin joined NCR in 1999 following the acquirement of Ceres Integrated Solutions where Dan was Project Manager for implementation of the Ceres CRM application suite. Currently Dan is the Teradata TRM Global Sales Support Manager and Offer Manager focused on supporting the regional and local Teradata sales organizations with promoting the application to current and new Teradata customers. Dan also drives the Program Management for current and future TRM releases. In 2004, Dan was Director of the Customer Management Center of Expertise for Teradata Europe, Middle East and Africa, responsible for business development, program management and implementation around our solutions. Dan has a bachelors degree in Economics from North Carolina State University.

Gayla has been focused on CRM solutions for the past 8 years, and in technology solutions for over 18 years. She began her career at NCR in 1990 in selling to Financial Institutions, and spent time in marketing, partner management, and product management positions. In 2008 she moved to the Teradata division, in CRM solution related roles. Gayla also has experience working for SAS as a CRM Solution Architect. Gayla received her MBA from University of Tampa.
