The Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council (AA PAC) provides advisory input for product development direction to Teradata Analytical Applications, including Teradata CRM, Demand Chain Management, Supply Chain Intelligence, and Teradata Warehouse Miner.
AA PAC consists of license holders and end-users who come together to provide insight into new business strategies, processes, and functionality with an eye towards adding business value to the Analytical Applications.
Purpose
The purpose of the Analytical Applications Product Advisory Committee (AA PAC) is to provide a process for client input into all aspects of the Analytical Applications. AA PAC members represent a broad spectrum of industry disciplines, including retail, travel, finance, insurance, and communications.
AA PAC represents the valuable voice of the customer, providing client questions, suggestions and concerns directly to the Teradata Analytical Applications team. AA PAC acts as a conduit to make the customers heard as a unified group with a vested interest in direction, functionality and services.
Mission
In a spirit of partnership, the mission of the Product Advisory Council is to provide a forum for users of the various applications to communicate information, to exchange ideas for mutual benefit, to set measurable objectives, to provide input on features, functionality and services, and to provide prioritization.
AA PAC recommendations are leveraged to extend and build the Analytical Applications Suite with improved functionality and to deliver tangible business results.
Goals
Represent fully the business and technical needs of the customer
Review and provide input into the Analytical Applications Solution Roadmap
Provide input and prioritization for features/functionality considerations of planned base release content
Identify possible future product development opportunities
Create opportunities for information and best practices sharing

Only Analytical Applications license holders are eligible for membership
Maximum of 15 member companies across all industries
AA PAC members serve a minimum of one year on the council, attend two Face to Face meetings per year, and participate in monthly conference calls
AA PAC members are required to assist at the annual Teradata PARTNERS Conference

Craig Gard was a critical member during the initial implementation of the CRM application. As the lead technical resource to support the TCRM Application, he worked on upgrades, creation of legends, and first level support for identified issues. Since that time, Gard has taken overall responsibility for all application and support activities in the Teradata environment. Overall, he has twelve years of experience working with marketing systems and seventeen years of IT experience, including all aspects of development and support.

DeAnna Blair

Since 2000, DeAnna Blair has worked with Teradata CRM at Hallmark Cards. She was involved in the initial Teradata database build for Hallmark’s consumer data. She is currently the TCRM Administrator and Direct Mail Project Leader and oversees the execution of over 125 direct mail campaigns with approximately 150 million postal contacts each year. Blair is also Hallmark’s expert on the “Retailerization” process. She joined the AA PAC in May 2004.

Rupert Blackley

Rupert Blackley started at British Airways in the Operational Research Department in 1987, supporting route costing, revenue management and relationship marketing functions. He joined the marketing group seven years ago and has worked on various CRM projects implementing segmentation models and strategies. He also managed a team of analysts who utilized extensive customer database management and executed all outbound communications. His current role is as a consultant to the business on all matters related to the development and exploitation of campaign management, database marketing and Teradata CRM at British Airways. Blackley joined the AA PAC in 2002.

Bobbi Brooks has more than twenty years of experience with retail marketing. Her experience within Federated includes advertising, sales promotion, marketing strategy, and marketing systems. She moved from the retail side to IT, and is currently the leader of the Direct Marketing CRM solutions team. This team participated in the original development of TCRM and continues to be one the largest TCRM user groups.

Bob Campbell

Bob Campbell directed the implementation, training, support and use of the Teradata CRM application at Nationwide. The CRM tool is used for campaign automation, analysis and reporting. CRM has enabled the marketing office to provide numerous campaigns and programs in support of exclusive agents. Campbell is also the project manager for Customer Data Model and Market Metrics projects. The Customer Data Model integrates customer information with product data from the separate product systems in the Data Warehouse and provides reports on customers’ product holdings. The integration of product and customer data is enabling analysis and better understanding of customers’ needs. The Market Metrics project provides capabilities for market and distribution planning. Campbell has been employed with Nationwide for seventeen years, holding various positions in personal lines underwriting (staff and operations), business process office and property / casualty marketing.

Susan Zimmer

Susan Zimmer has worked in relationship marketing at JCPenney since 1988. She initially worked on the Credit Inserts Program in the direct response area. Zimmer then moved to catalog marketing, where she was responsible for selection and analysis of the major catalogs, sale tabloids, and marketing programs. She moved to her current position as project manger for TCRM within the strategic planning and research area in 2000. Zimmer manages the JCPenney team that provides business support in TCRM for JCPenney’s three business channels (catalog, internet, and retail). Zimmer and her team work with the Technical Support team to develop and implement marketing business solutions in the TCRM application.

Jim Fischer has over 25 years experience in the computer industry and is responsible for Product Management for Teradata Analytical Applications. In this position, he is responsible for implementing the Teradata Analytical Application strategy through the development and deployment of product programs worldwide. He has held various positions in software development and management of engineering organizations. He has worked in both transaction processing and database systems and solutions. In addition, he has served as chairperson for an International Industry Standards committee. He has over 10 years experience in data warehouse systems and applications. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton, a Masters degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University in Boston, and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton.

As Director of Product Management, Chris Twogood is responsible for Teradata's Analytical Applications and Business Intelligence Solutions. These solutions include Data Mining, Customer Management, Demand and Supply Management, Profitability Management, an Application Development Framework and industry specific solutions. His responsibilities include Solution Strategy, Product Direction, Analyst Relationships. He is a primary customer interface in describing how companies can leverage technology for true customer advantage. Twogood has in depth knowledge in how customers are using Teradata's solutions, driving ROI, building data warehouse applications and brining solutions to market.
