At the 2009 Teradata EMEA Universe event, Teradata Cares sponsored activities in support of the local Istanbul community. During the event, attendees wrote notes and wrapped books for local children. The 850 books were presented to children at two separate schools. At one school Teradata also provided an illusionist to entertain the students. Finally, Teradata presented three wheelchairs to an organization in Istanbul that helps the disabled.
