Hi, I'm Trevor Dukes, your new Teradata User Group chairman.
Firstly, I'd like to thank Colin for his stewardship of the UK User Group and hope we continue to see him at forthcoming TUG events.
Just a short note about me. I work for W H Smith looking after the development and exploitation of our Teradata DW for all areas of the business including buying and marketing, supply chain, finance and even the stores.
W H Smith has been a Teradata user for over 10 years and has therefore experienced many of the advances in Teradata technology as well as endured the occasional inconsistencies. Throughout this period we have always found it useful to discuss our issues with other users, and I would be happy to receive any ideas or suggestions of how the User Group could improve the facilitation of these discussions.
