Teradata Corporation's official certification exams and certification credentials are developed, copyrighted and managed solely by its Teradata Certified Professional Program team. There are no other Teradata authorized exams, certifications or legitimate credentials in the IT industry. Don't be fooled by imitation exams, exam preparation materials or educational materials. These exams and certifications are not authorized by Teradata and are not recognized or valued in the industry. Like most imitations, there are trade-offs, short-cuts and omissions that undervalue you and your efforts.
Facts You Need to Know
The TCPP team partners with preeminent certification industry vendors and Teradata subject matter experts to develop Teradata Certification exams utilizing recognized industry standard guidelines for exam development including rigorous, legally-defensible, statistically validated analysis and scoring procedures. Teradata owns all technical content and no other exams lead to legitimate Teradata Certifications. When you embark on the process of earning any of our highly-valued Teradata Certifications, it is important to know these facts:
- Teradata's official certification exams are administered and proctored exclusively by: Prometric, Inc., a major global testing vendor.
- Teradata Certification levels are awarded only when all prescribed criteria and testing have been completed at an authorized Prometric testing site. Exam results and certifications are maintained within a secured certification tracking system that is accessible solely by candidates with a unique password and Login ID. Select the Tracking System link at the Teradata Certified Professional Program website.
- Candidates achieving Teradata Certifications are awarded specially designed credentials copyrighted by Teradata. The official credentials for each certification level include:
