Pekka Barck, Head of Data Warehousing, NOKIA
Pekka Barck is recognized as one of the leading experts in data warehousing and analytics in Northern Europe. He joined Nokia in 2004 with the assignment to push off an enterprise data warehouse effort. Prior to joining Nokia, Pekka headed a consulting unit for business intelligence, CRM and content management for the financial sector. Pekka has been involved in many data warehousing projects within the financial, telecommunications and manufacturing industries. He has created several concepts and models, which are used in companies today. In his 20 years as a practitioner, he has managed or performed work in virtually every aspect of analytics, both from a customer and consulting perspective. He has authored many articles and been speaking at several conferences.
