Jack Gustafson, Data Warehousing Director, DIRECTV
Jack Gustafson is responsible for implementing and maintaining the data modeling, data integration, ETL development and database performance for the enterprise data warehouse. Jack started with DIRECTV in 2003 and has successfully implemented GoldenGate with Teradata to provide the company with the ability to make operational decisions much faster. Jack previously worked at Universal Music as the manager of the data warehouse environment, as well as at Red Brick and Informix as a senior consultant. |

With over 35 years in IT, Dan joined Teradata in 1989 as the senior product manager for the DBC/1012 parallel database computer. IBM then lured him to write product plans and launch the RS/6000 SP parallel cluster. He moved into the role of Strategy Executive for Global Business Intelligence Solutions and formed the Teraplex Integration Centers to stress test large data warehouse workloads. Returning to his roots in 2006, Dan currently leads Teradata's Active Data Warehouse Marketing. |
