enterprise data warehousing, today announced the availability of Teradata® Enterprise Data Management services, a suite of eight different services designed to improve compliance with government regulations, reduce the risks inherent with improved data quality, and increase enterprise agility.

Teradata's Enterprise Data Management suite consists of eight different services listed below:

- Data Quality — the data quality services ensure the data in the data warehouse is complete, timely, accurate, consistent, relevant, reliable and usable for decision making and analysis
- Data Integration — data extraction, transformation, enrichment, loading, and integration across the data warehouse
- Data Security and Privacy — define and implement data warehouse security and privacy policies
- Metadata Management — provide an enterprise repository of metadata information and an analysis of the enterprise
- Master Data Management — manage the core data assets and relationships that define enterprise operations
- Data Governance — the rules, policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities that guide overall management of an enterprise's data
- Data Stewardship — data stewardship defines the continual, day-to-day activities of creating, using and retiring data
