Union Bank of Norway is the country's largest savings bank group, serving one million consumer and commercial customers through 175 branches, more than 250 ATMs, six call centers and the Internet.
After reviewing several vendors, including IBM with Oracle database and HP with a Sybase solution, Union Bank of Norway selected a Teradata Warehouse and Teradata Customer Relationship Management. After Teradata solutions were implemented, the investment paid for itself within a year, thanks to results from direct marketing.
