The Bank of Yokohama implemented a Marketing Customer Information Files (MCIF) system on a Teradata Warehouse. The Teradata solution took only six months to develop, which allowed the bank to quickly put its new strategies into action. In the first two years, the bank's call center opened 200,000 new accounts, as well as made information available to customers 24x7, offering the most appropriate services for each individual customer and improving the bank's ability to gain new customers.
