PayPal's migration from Oracle to Teradata was prompted by a goal to speed up the close process from three days to a single day, a goal that was unattainable using their legacy data warehouse. Not only did the Teradata Warehouse allow PayPal to surpass their goal, but Clay Stanley, Director of Information Management and Delivery, says they're now better able to "...meet the needs of the rest of the business."
