Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is responsible for the definition and implementation of information requirements and information technology solutions for naval aviation maintenance and logistics worldwide.

NAVAIR has implemented a sophisticated Enterprise Data Warehouse from Teradata to support operations of aircraft worldwide in the war against terrorists. Navy analysts can now base decisions on current, near real-time data instead of 30 to 45 days old.

NAVAIR has selected Teradata to become a Navy prime contractor, supporting all aspects of a U.S. Department of Defense Logistics Data Center. NAVAIR has also chosen Teradata Professional Services as its exclusive prime contractor for the DECKPLATE Logistics Data Center. This allows NAVAIR extensive access to Teradata expertise and provides NAVAIR with a single point of accountability.
