Teradata Decision Experts for Finance is a critical component of the Teradata Finance and Performance Management Solution. The pre-built module is a set of linked, extensible metadata driven data models which provide a strong analytic environment tied to the highly scalable Teradata system. And, information in each Decision Expert is available to end users via any integrated analytical environment.

Decision Experts are automatically populated through the Teradata Source Expert, which also accurately sources operational data from Oracle ERP applications. Decision Experts are linked through common dimensions such as:

• Set of books
• Project
• Task
• Invoice
• Vendor, and
• Organization

In addition, the Finance and Industry LDM environment includes:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts payable
• Fixed Assets
• Procurement
• Project Accounting

And, this data model set links to every non-financial domain, such as Human Resources, Customer, and Demand Fulfillment, included in the EDW.
