Prairie Band Casino

The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation's tribal property casino in Topeka, Kansas, the Prairie Band Casino, is currently managed by Harrah's. The property includes a $37 million, 63,000 square foot entertainment complex featuring 970 slot machines, 30 table games, a 350-seat bingo hall, a nation-run gift shop, a restaurant, a pub and a 100-room hotel.

In 2008 the Potawatomi Nation will take over management of the casino. While transitioning from Harrah's IT infrastructure, the casino will retain its existing Teradata Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, which it values as critical to the continued success of its gaming operations. This sets the stage for the Teradata Warehouse to become the casino's enterprise platform. Prairie Band Casino also selected Teradata Partner solutions from Compudigm for data visualization and Cognos for its business intelligence solution.
