Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau S.A.R.L.

Formed as a joint venture of the international telecommunications giants: Cable and Wireless, Portugal Telecom, CITIC Pacific and Macau Post, Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau S.A.R.L. (CTM) was charged with the task of improving telecommunications services in Macau.

CTM is in the initial phase of deploying a Teradata Warehouse. The system will provide CTM with an integrated, stable, and scalable data warehouse platform, enabling the company to derive business value from its historical data and respond to market needs in real time. It will also use a data-quality audit module to continually identify and correct errors. CTM's management and technical staff will rely on the system to detect business trends, support marketing campaigns, analyze customer behavior, reduce churn, and manage the business.
