Traditional managed services included the delegation of operational responsibility for information technology to a vendor for such tasks as the management of servers, storage, backup and recovery and security. In addition to these traditional services, the expanded Teradata Managed Services portfolio provides monitoring and maintenance of data management and decision support capabilities of the data warehouse and analytic applications.
