| Teradata buys DecisionPoint to expand its foundation for financial management |
| Teradata has fleshed out the financial management
features of its data warehousing portfolio by acquiring
existing partner DecisionPoint Software for an
undisclosed sum. The deal, which was announced and
closed on November 30, is primarily technology-driven.

presents upsell and cross-sell opportunities for Teradata, it
is the target's software stack, which provides an integrated
data foundation for financial and performance
management, that we believe represents the real crown
jewels.
