The State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Taxation, has launched a Teradata-driven Taxation Data Warehouse to improve compliance among taxpayers. Teradata partner NCS Technologies is working with Teradata on the system's analytical functionality, which will enable the Division of Taxation to analyze data relationships and business trends in a simple "drag and drop" fashion.

"Previously, we were unable to effectively analyze vast amounts of data available to the tax department and to identify unknown noncompliance issues," says Bob Shickora, Director of the Taxation Data Warehouse, State of New Jersey. "With this contract, we will now be able to bring compliance data together for query and business intelligence as well as improve compliance processes through better use of available data and standardization."
