Charming Shoppes is a leading specialty fashion retailer operating 2,256 stores in 48 states, including the Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, and Catherines Plus Sizes chains, as well as the Crosstown Traders family of apparel, accessories, footwear and gift catalogs.

Charming Shoppes has upgraded and expanded its Teradata Warehouse to facilitate additional users, applications, and workload. The new system will enable the retailer to move toward an even greater active data warehousing environment that will fully support queries from its 2,265 stores. In addition to the technology upgrade, Teradata consultants helped convert the technology and implement the solution, while providing business-critical support.
