Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest life insurance company in the world, with more than 130 million policyholders, more than 2.45 million policies sold annually, and the need to process large volumes of cash transactions daily.

Teradata is providing data warehousing solutions to LIC's Corporate Active Data Warehouse (CADW), a 60TB solution, which is the largest data warehouse project of its kind in India. The Teradata Warehouse will enable LIC to understand various customer and policy usage profiles in order to customize and effectively manage product offerings.
