New world order
Created by Scott Kim
YOU CAN'T GET GOOD BUSINESS
INTELLIGENCE unless you have good data. But all too often,
companies fail to take the basic steps to ensure data quality.
As Larissa T. Moss explains in her article “Pay Now or Pay
Later” on page 16, “Data quality should be on the
radar screen of every intelligent enterprise.”
How good are you at fixing corrupted data? Try
your hand at rearranging the 25 squares below to restore the photo
of the world (use the image on the right as your guide). Hints:
First find the corner pieces, and rotate squares as needed. When
you have finished, you will see a question with incomplete “data.”
When you have the answer, your work is done.
Solve the complete puzzle online by November
15 to automatically be entered in a drawing for a Teradata varsity-style
jacket. Good luck!
