Search Tips
Using the Application:
Our application process works best with Internet Explorer. While navigating the application pages, please do not use your browser's Back button. Use the navigation buttons that are highlighted throughout the application.
Searching for Opportunities:
Click on the Search Jobs link on the right navigation of this page.
Select View Job Postings/Apply for Job.
You may search for jobs by Job Category, Location, Keyword or Requisition Number — select as many or as few criteria as you want, and click Search at the bottom of the page to view the results.
- A note about the location search — you must select the country first and then choose the specific location. To add additional locations, click the Add button.
- A note about keyword search — The Keyword(s) Search field pulls keywords found in the job title and also searches the actual job description. If you are looking for Job Postings with specific skills needed, type that criteria into the Keyword field and click the Search button. (Note: The less detailed information you input into this field, the more results you will yield.)
- Use the navigation buttons that are highlighted throughout the application.
To view all open opportunities, do not select any criteria and click Search at the bottom of the page.
Positions matching your search criteria will be displayed. To view the job description, click on the job title.
If you choose to apply for the position, click Add Job to Basket. You may then click Return to Job Postings to search for additional positions or you may click Job Basket to apply for the position. Please view the directions below for Applying for a Posted Job.
If you choose not to apply for the position, click Return to Job Postings to edit your search criteria.
The Job Basket:
The Job Basket function stores all Job Postings in which you have indicated interest in applying. The Job Basket stores only current selections. When you exit the application, the basket empties and your selections will NOT be saved.
Uploading Your Résumé:
When applying for a position, it is necessary to upload your résumé for each and every posting. This feature allows you to tailor your résumé for each position that you are applying for and ensures that Teradata views the most recent version of your résumé.
New Applicants Applying for a Posted Job:
Once you have followed the steps above to search for opportunities and have added one or more jobs to your Job Basket, click on the Job Basket link from the View Job Postings page or from the Job Description page.
Select Apply for Jobs in Basket. You must have a valid e-mail address and a résumé to upload to our system. Our database currently accepts files in the following formats: .pdf, .doc, .htm, .html, .rtf, .txt.
Click New Registrant.
Enter your e-mail address, password and enter your password again to confirm.
Select I Agree. You will then upload your résumé and the system will guide you through the steps to complete your application.
Returning Applicants Applying for a Posted Job:
Once you have followed the steps above to search for opportunities and have added one or more jobs to your Job Basket, click on the Job Basket link from the View Job Postings page or from the Job Description page.
Select Apply for Jobs in Basket. You must have a valid e-mail address and a résumé to upload to our system. Our database currently accepts files in the following formats: .pdf, .doc, .htm, .html, .rtf, .txt.
Enter the e-mail address and password that you used when you originally created your profile and click I Agree.
You will then upload your résumé and the system will guide you through the steps to complete your application.
New Applicants Submitting a Résumé without Applying for a Posted Job:
You must have a valid e-mail address and a résumé to upload to our system. Our database currently accepts files in the following formats: .pdf, .doc, .htm, .html, .rtf, .txt.
Click on the Apply Now button.
Select Create/Update Résumé.
Click New Registrant.
Enter your e-mail address, password and enter your password again to confirm.
Select I Agree. You will then upload your résumé and the system will guide you through the steps to complete your profile.
Returning Applicants Submitting a Résumé without Applying for a Posted Job:
Enter the e-mail address and password that you used when you originally created your profile and click I Agree.
You will then upload your résumé and the system will guide you through the steps to complete your profile.
What Happens Next?
After applying for a job, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Teradata indicating that your résumé has been received.
The Global Staffing organization will review your application and if your qualifications and experience are a fit for an open opportunity, a representative from Teradata will contact you.
