James M. Ringler, Chairman, Teradata Corporation
James M. Ringler was named chairman of Teradata Corporation in September 2007. Ringler previously served as chairman of NCR Corporation from 2005 to September 2007 and President and Interim CEO from March 2005 to August 2005. He served as vice chairman of Illinois Tool Works Inc. from 1999 until 2004 and as chairman of Premark International from 1996 to 1999 and chief executive officer from 1995 to 1999. Ringler serves on the boards of directors of Autoliv Inc., The Dow Chemical Company, FMC Technologies, Corn Products International, Inc., and John Bean Technologies Corporation.
Edward P. Boykin
Edward (Pete) Boykin retired in 2003 as president and chief operating officer of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), one of the world's leading information technology services and consulting firms providing outsourcing, management consulting and systems integration. Prior to joining CSC in 1966, he was an aerospace engineer with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Boykin also serves on the board of directors of NCR Corporation. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.
Nancy E. Cooper
Nancy Cooper is executive vice president and chief financial officer of CA, Inc. (CA). She joined CA in August 2006 with nearly 30 years of finance experience. From 2001 until that time, Cooper previously served as chief financial officer for IMS Health Incorporated, the world’s leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Prior to joining IMS Health, she was the chief financial officer of Reciprocal, Inc., a leading digital rights management and consulting firm. In 1998, she served as a partner responsible for finance and administration at General Atlantic Partners, a private equity firm focused on software and services investments. Cooper began her career at IBM where she held increasingly important roles over a 22-year period that focused on technology strategy and financial management. She joined Teradata’s board in August 2009.
Cary T. Fu
Cary T. Fu is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. (Benchmark). Fu served as chief executive officer from September 2004 to May 2009, president and chief executive officer of Benchmark from September 2004 to December 2006, president and chief operating officer from May 2001 to September 2004, executive vice president from 1990 to May 2001, and executive vice president, financial administration, from 1990 to April 1992. From 1986 to 1990, he also served Benchmark in various different capacities, including treasurer and secretary. Fu has been a director of Benchmark since 1990 and is a certified public accountant. He joined Teradata's board in July 2008.
David E. Kepler
D. E. (Dave) Kepler is executive vice president, business services, chief sustainability officer and chief information officer (CIO) of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). Kepler joined Dow in 1975. After progressive roles in information systems and commercial assignments throughout the United States, Canada and the Pacific, he was appointed vice president and CIO of Dow in 1998 and corporate vice president in 2001. Kepler assumed responsibility for Business Services in 2004, was appointed senior vice president in 2006, with added responsibilities for the company's sustainability initiatives, and appointed executive vice president in 2008. Kepler also serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as well as the board of directors of Dorinco Reinsurance Company and Liana Limited, both Dow affiliated companies, and is a member of the U.S. National Infrastructure Advisory Council. He joined Teradata's board in November 2007.
Michael (Mike) Koehler
Michael (Mike) Koehler is president and chief executive officer of Teradata Corporation. Previously, Koehler served as senior vice president, Teradata Division of NCR Corporation from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that Koehler was vice president of Teradata's global field operations. Before the Teradata Division was formed in January 2000, Koehler was vice president of NCR's Americas Retail Division and vice president of NCR's Worldwide Retail Industry Marketing group. Koehler began his career at NCR in 1975. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.
Victor L. Lund
Victor L. Lund has served as non-executive chairman of the board of DemandTec, Inc., since December 2006. Previously, Lund served as non-executive chairman of the board of Mariner Health Care, Inc. from 2002 to December 2004 and as vice chairman of Albertson's, Inc. from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of American Stores Company. During his 22-year career with the company, Lund held executive positions of increasing responsibility, including chief financial officer and executive vice president. Prior to joining American Stores Company in 1980, Lund was a practicing certified public accountant. He also serves on the boards of Del Monte Foods Company and Service Corporation International. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.
William S. Stavropoulos
William S. Stavropoulos is chairman emeritus of the board of directors of The Dow Chemical Company. Stavropoulos served as chairman of Dow's board of directors from 2000 to 2006. From 1995 until November 2000, he was president and chief executive officer of Dow. He joined Dow in 1967. Stavropoulos serves on the boards of Tyco International, Inc., Chemical Financial Corporation, Maersk Inc., and the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. He is a trustee of the Fidelity Group of Funds, serves as a special advisor to Clayton, Dubilier, and Rice, Inc., a private equity investment firm, and is a member of the advisory board of Metalmark Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm. Stavropoulos is the president and founder of the Michigan Baseball Foundation. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.
