
Todd Carver
Deputy General Counsel Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
Todd Carver serves on Teradata’s global Leadership Team and Law Department Leadership Team as the deputy general counsel and chief ethics and compliance officer.
Carver established Teradata’s global Ethics & Compliance Office and wrote and implemented the Teradata Values Statement and Code of Conduct. In addition, he leads the group of legal professionals who handle litigation, dispute, investigation, employment law, and patent licensing matters for Teradata.
Carver has 30 years of law-related experience, including 23 years with NCR/AT&T/Teradata. Carver is a leading expert in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), negotiation, litigation management, outside counsel management, intellectual property disputes and licensing, quantitative litigation risk analysis, and technology contracting.
Carver has been an adjunct professor of law for 12 years at the University of Dayton School of Law, where he also serves on the Board of Visitors.
Carver earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) in Political Science from Wright State University and a Juris Doctorate (magna cum laude) from the University of Dayton School of Law. He served on Law Review and Moot Court in law school.
He is has been an active community leader and currently serves on the Executive Board of Boy Scouting’s Miami Valley Council and on the funding development committee of the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
