With total assets of EUR 229.8 billion and market shares of up to 65%, UniCredit Bank is the largest financial institution in Austria and serves the east European market in 20 countries. According to Herbert Hangel, they wanted to get the most out of their Teradata Warehouse through BI Governance. “It was important because we did not just want to implement a data warehouse, but we wanted a precise technical implementation…And we aligned the requirements and prioritized them in order to achieve a consistent data model and, also, to improve data quality.”
