James M. Ringler, Chairman, Teradata Corporation

James M. Ringler was named chairman of the board of Teradata Corporation in September 2007. Ringler previously served as chairman of NCR Corporation from 2005 to September 2007 and President and Interim CEO from March 2005 to August 2005. He served as vice chairman of Illinois Tool Works Inc. from 1999 until 2004 and as chairman of Premark International from 1996 to 1999 and its chief executive officer from 1995 to 1999. Ringler also serves as a director of Autoliv Inc., The Dow Chemical Company, FMC Technologies, Ingredion Incorporated, and John Bean Technologies Corporation.

Edward P. Boykin

Edward (Pete) Boykin retired in 2003 as president and chief operating officer of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), one of the world's leading information technology services and consulting firms providing outsourcing, management consulting and systems integration. Prior to joining CSC in 1966, he was an aerospace engineer with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Boykin also serves as a director of NCR Corporation and as non-executive chairman of the board of Engility Corporation, a government services company. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.

Nancy E. Cooper

Nancy Cooper served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer of CA Technologies (CA), a global IT management software company, from August 2006 until she retired from CA in May 2011. She has nearly 30 years of finance experience that also includes her role as chief financial officer for IMS Health Incorporated, the world’s leading provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries from 2001 to 2006. Prior to joining IMS Health, she was the chief financial officer of Reciprocal, Inc., a leading digital rights management and consulting firm. In 1998, she served as a partner responsible for finance and administration at General Atlantic Partners, a private equity firm focused on software and services investments. Cooper began her career at IBM where she held increasingly important roles over a 22-year period that focused on technology strategy and financial management. She currently serves as a director of The Mosaic Company and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and as a trustee to the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology. She joined Teradata’s board in August 2009.

Cary T. Fu

Cary T. Fu is chairman emeritus of Benchmark Electronics, Inc. (Benchmark). Fu served as its chairman of the board from 2009 until his retirement in December 2012 and served as a director from 1990 until that time. In December 2011, he retired as Benchmark’s chief executive officer, a position he had held since September 2004. He was the president and chief executive officer of Benchmark from September 2004 to December 2006, president and chief operating officer from 2001 to September 2004, executive vice president from 1990 to 2001, and executive vice president, financial administration, from 1990 to 1992. From 1986 to 1990, he also served Benchmark in various different capacities, including treasurer and secretary. Fu also serves as a director of Littelfuse, Inc. and is a certified public accountant. He joined Teradata's board in July 2008.

David E. Kepler

D. E. (Dave) Kepler is executive vice president, business services, chief sustainability officer and chief information officer (CIO) of The Dow Chemical Company (Dow). Kepler joined Dow in 1975. After progressive roles in information systems and commercial assignments throughout the United States, Canada and the Pacific, he was appointed vice president and CIO of Dow in 1998 and corporate vice president in 2001. Kepler assumed responsibility for Business Services at Dow in 2004, was appointed senior vice president in 2006, with added responsibilities for the company's sustainability initiatives, and appointed executive vice president in 2008. Kepler also serves on the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and as a trustee of the University of California Berkeley Foundation. Kepler is also a board member of Dorinco Reinsurance Company and Liana Limited, both Dow-affiliated companies, and is appointed to the U.S. National Infrastructure Advisory Council. He joined Teradata's board in November 2007.

Michael (Mike) Koehler

Michael (Mike) Koehler is president and chief executive officer of Teradata Corporation. Previously, Koehler served as senior vice president, Teradata Division of NCR Corporation from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that Koehler was vice president of Teradata's global field operations. Before the Teradata Division was formed in January 2000, Koehler was vice president of NCR's Americas Retail Division and vice president of NCR's Worldwide Retail Industry Marketing group. Koehler began his career at NCR in 1975. He currently serves as a director of Hertz Global Holdings, Inc., and joined Teradata's board in September 2007.

Victor L. Lund

Victor L. Lund served as the non-executive chairman of the board of DemandTec, Inc., from December 2006 until February 2012 and was a member of its board from April 2005 until that time. Previously, Lund served as non-executive chairman of the board of Mariner Health Care, Inc. from 2002 to 2004 and as vice chairman of Albertson's, Inc. from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of American Stores Company. During his 22-year career with the company, Lund held executive positions of increasing responsibility, including chief financial officer and executive vice president. Prior to joining American Stores Company in 1980, Lund was a practicing certified public accountant. He also serves as a director of Service Corporation International. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.

John G. Schwarz

John G. Schwarz is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Visier Inc., a business analytics software firm. Previously, he served as chief executive officer of SAP Business Objects from 2008 to February 2010, during which time he was a member of the executive board of SAP AG. He also served as the chief executive officer of Business Objects from 2005 to 2008, when the company was acquired by SAP. Mr. Schwarz was the president and chief operating officer of Symantec Corporation from 2002 to 2005 and president and chief executive officer of Reciprocal Inc. from 2000 to 2002. Prior to joining Reciprocal, Mr. Schwarz had a diverse 25-year career at IBM Corporation. He also serves on the boards of Synopsys, Inc., and Avast Software. He joined Teradata’s board in September 2010.

William S. Stavropoulos

William S. Stavropoulos is chairman emeritus of the board of directors of The Dow Chemical Company. Stavropoulos served as chairman of Dow's board from 2000 to 2006. From 1995 until November 2000, he was president and chief executive officer of Dow, a company he joined in 1967. Stavropoulos is the non-executive chairman of the board of Univar, Inc., a global distributor of commodity and specialty chemicals and serves on the advisory boards for Metalmark Capital LLC, a private equity investment firm, and Maersk Inc. He is a trustee of the Fidelity Equity and High Income Funds, and serves as a special advisor to Clayton, Dubilier, and Rice, Inc., a private equity investment firm. Stavropoulos is the president and founder of the Michigan Baseball Foundation and serves as a trustee of the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation. He joined Teradata's board in September 2007.
