Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Steve Scheppmann is executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Teradata. He is a member of the Teradata leadership team, reporting to Mike Koehler, president and chief executive officer of Teradata.
Prior to joining Teradata in September 2007, Scheppmann had 20 years of experience as a CFO and more than 10 years in public accounting. Most recently, he was executive vice president and CFO of Per-Se Technologies, Inc. From 2006 until June of 2012, he was a member of the board of directors of eResearch Technology, Inc., a publicly-traded biotechnical services and technology company, where he also served as the chair of its audit committee.
Previously, Scheppmann was executive vice president and CFO for NOVA Information Systems, Inc. from 2000 to 2006 and senior vice president and CFO for Larson-Juhl, Inc. from 1988 to 2000. He held senior auditing positions with Arthur Andersen & Company from 1978 through 1988.
Scheppmann grew up in the Midwest and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in business administration - accounting. He and his wife and three children have resided in the Atlanta area since 1983.
